Spring/Summer 2014
Our first projects in 2014 were varied, ranging from a number of outdoor works which included entire external house painting plus lots of windows, to some more unusual briefs such as the complete redecoration of an indoor pool house ceiling.
Taking advantage of the fine, dry spring weather, we undertook the external decoration works of all the windows, doors, fascia's, soffits and masonry sills & banding on a beautiful period property in Alresford, Hampshire.
Due to both the size and the height of the building, it was necessary to bring in specialist high lift platforms and erect scaffolding to ensure a long lasting finish, whilst also ensuring the safety of our team.

Over the summer months, MI Decorators were contracted to decorate the entire interior and exterior of the ongoing restoration works at a wonderful historic farm based in Romsey, Hampshire. The farm has a long heritage and is recorded as a
pre-doomsday holding. The farmhouse itself has undergone extensive structural building and carpentry work.
MI Decorators provided the final decorating finish of what is undoubtedly a lovingly thought-out, sensitive and well designed refurbishment project. Due to the age of the building, traditional building materials were used and so we had to source all the paint from a specialist distemper manufacturer, providing a tailored finish on the lime plastered walls.
